Greater Refuge Church Women's Ministry
Titus 2:3-4 (Teaching of the Young Women)
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children
Ephesians 4: 1-3 (The Unity of the Spirit)
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation where with ye are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Phillipians 2: 1-2
If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Our Mission:
To glorify God by challenging women to know God personally, to grow in Christ's likeness, to discover our gifts and work in them; to love and serve others and to reflect the beauty of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our focus is to gather women of all ages and races for the purpose of winning souls to Christ by teaching them biblical truths and honoring the spirit-filled life.
Our Ministry:
Women's Ministry is a support ministry of Greater Refuge Church Ministries:
- The ministry as a whole depicts the importance of being rooted, grounded, and established in the love of Jesus Christ.
- It is considered as a tree, which symbolizes the ministry as a whole. Its branches symbolize the many ministries and programs that fall under the umbrella of the Women's Ministry.
- All of these ministries feed from the trunk and are also rooted and grounded in Biblical principles.
